The first year of our award, which offers emerging theatre companies the chance to win a prize-fund of £1000 and mentoring from Les Enfants Terribles, has accumulated in a fantastic showcase at Pleasance Islington. The 10 shortlisted companies performed some great work and we sincerely wish all those involved the very best for the future. And we would also like to extend our huge congratulations to our first prize winner, Magpie Puppet Company. Together with their great working attitudes, their performance of 'The Kites Are Flying' impressed our judges enough to secure first place.
